The Hindu Education Plus EAMCET counselling from June 2
Counselling will be conducted at eight centres in the State
Students, parents can clarify their doubts with experts

The annual career counselling programmes for those who had taken the EAMCET – 2008 will be organised by The Hindu Education Plus in eight centres across the State from June 2.
Renowned academicians will speak about career prospects in different streams of engineering, medicine, pharmacy and other allied subjects.
Students and their parents can also interact with the experts directly to clarify their doubts on career prospects, skills required and skills to be developed by students, during the interactive sessions.
The main sponsor of the event is Triumphant Institute of Management Education (T.I.M.E.) Pvt Ltd
Schedule
The sessions will be held in Visakpahatnam (June 2), Rajahmundry (June 4), Tirupati (June 7), Vijayawada (June 9), Anantapur (June 11), Nellore (June 13), Hyderabad (June 15) and Warangal (June 17).
The experts would also interact with students in Kurnool, Nizamabad, Kadapa and Khammam through video conference (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.) on June 19.

EAMCET results to be released today
The EAMCET-2008 results would be released on Saturday at 12 noon at the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). No candidate will get zero marks this year as the EAMCET Committee has decided to award four marks in engineering and five in medicine stream to all the students as either questions were wrong or correct answer was not given. Sources said question nos 24, 100, 134 and 158 in the engineering stream were found to be erroneous while in the medical stream question nos 88, 98, 104, 107 and 114 were wrong. So, all candidates will get full marks for these questions. For question no 40 in the engineering stream, students who had marked option 2 or 3 will get full marks. Subject experts are said to have decided that for question no 160 in the medical stream, only option 4 was correct. However, in the initial key, options 1 and 4 were stated as correct.
